Oregon State students come from all over the world.

OSU boasts over 30,000 students from more than 90 different countries, including almost 3,900 international students.

How to apply

If you are currently outside the United States and plan to begin your bachelor's program at OSU during summer term, we recommend that you submit your application for admission and supporting documents four to six months prior to the start of the term. Applicants to master's or Ph.D. programs should refer to their prospective department for details regarding admission terms and application deadlines. For more details, check the OSU Graduate School's website.

Visit the International Students Admissions website to access an online application and to learn more about admissions requirements.

For additional summer programs designed for international students, please visit the INTO OSU website for more information.

If you are currently in the U.S. on another school's I-20 and wish to enroll at OSU during your vacation period only, please submit the online application for non-degree students. You will be directed to contact an OSU international student advisor and may need to provide documentation regarding your current immigration status. Consult with your home institution's international student advisor if you have questions about maintaining your current F-1 status.

After you are admitted

All newly admitted international students must complete a mandatory orientation and immigration document check-in within the first few days of arriving on campus. Please contact the Office of International Services to schedule an appointment with an international student advisor.

If you will be a degree-seeking student and have questions about registering for summer term courses, please contact an OSU advisor for help.
