Fun Things to Do

With clear, sunny skies, perfect humidity and a pleasant temperature, Oregon summers are the ideal time to explore the many scenic and natural wonders of this Northwest state. Corvallis, which is Latin for "Heart of the Valley," is conveniently situated within an hour from the Pacific Ocean and about two hours from the Cascade Mountains.

We know that studying is your number one goal, but when you need a break, you don't have to look far for a good distraction. There are so many things to do in and around Corvallis, including a variety of on-campus activities and entertainment, like free noon concerts on the quad, free movies, recreational activities and classes in our Craft Center.
