Transportation

From the Portland Airport (PDX)

Hut Airport Shuttle - 541-926-2525
(approx. $49 one way; $87 round-trip between PDX and the Corvallis Hilton Garden Inn)

Hut Shuttle pick up at the airport is located just outside baggage claim. Exit the airport doors nearest carousel #8 in baggage claim, walk across the lanes toward the parking garage to the center median (Island #2 of 3). As you approach Island #2, to your left is a white information booth, walk to the opposing side of the information booth (the side closet to the entry area for vehicles) to await shuttle pick up.

While the Hut Shuttle Bus will be clearly identified, there is no specific "Hut Shuttle" sign, therefore if you are unsure where to wait, please ask the attendant in the information booth.

The shuttle pick up schedule and reservations are available on their website. It is recommended that you reserve your seat on the shuttle ahead of time, but you can also purchase it from the driver when you board, provided room is available.

Regardless whether you are lodging on or off campus, we recommend using the Hilton Garden Inn (Corvallis) as your local arrival/departure shuttle stop, as it's located nearest to campus just across the street from the ILLC building. If you are staying at an alternate location off campus, the shuttle driver can call ahead to request a taxi be waiting when you arrive.

The Hut Shuttle service is a local family owned business and their drivers are very courteous and accommodating.

From the Eugene Airport-Mahlon Sweet Field (EUG)

OmniShuttle - 541-461-7959
(approx. $65 one way between EUG and Corvallis/Oregon State University)

Parking

Current zone parking and shuttle map.

OSU currently has a 'zonal' parking system in place (e.g., Zone A, B or C). Please refer the OSU Parking page for additional details.

If you do not already have an annual student/faculty/staff parking permit that expires Sept 2017, you will need to purchase either a daily or monthly parking permit.

Parking passes are required Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm.  A (daily/monthly) parking pass can be purchased online and will cost either $12/day (Zone A) or $10/day (Zone B & C) depending on which you choose.

The closest zone for parking near Kearney Hall is A2 (Zone A pass) and the closest zone for the ILLC building (on-campus lodging) is B1 or B2 (Zone B&C pass) depending on which lot is utilized.

Kearney Hall and the ILLC building are approximately 0.5 mile apart from one another.  Therefore, if you prefer the flexibility to park in any zone on campus, choose a Zone A permit.  If you plan to leave your vehicle parked at the ILLC building and walk to Kearney each day, then choose a Zone B&C permit.

With zonal parking you can only park in the assigned level or "down" from the letter lot you are in.
 - Zone A (allows parking in Zones A, B or C)
 - Zone B&C (allows parking in Zones B or C only)
