Registration for summer term opened April 16, so now's the time to check out the schedule of classes to find the ones that fit your schedule best. Remember, you can choose from multiple course lengths – one to 11 weeks – so there's bound to be something that works for you.

Choose from more than 500 graduate courses offered on the OSU Corvallis campus. Can't stay in Corvallis this summer? No problem. Oregon State Ecampus delivers nearly 100 courses online, so you can take advantage of summer term wherever you go.

Here are some important summer dates for you to remember:

June 19–23: Session 6 – Intersession/One week
June 26–Sept. 8: Session 1 – 11 weeks
June 26–July 21: Session 2 – Four weeks
June 26–Aug. 18: Session 3 – Eight weeks
July 24–Aug. 18: Session 4 – Four weeks
Aug. 21–Sept. 8: Session 5 – Three weeks

Need a little boost to help pay for your summer classes? Enter the Warm Up to Summer scholarship contest online or in person at the Warm Up to Summer event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 23 and 24, at the MU Quad for your chance to win a $200 summer scholarship to be applied toward campus-based classes in Corvallis or at the Hatfield Marine Science Center.

Spring Family Weekend $500 summer scholarship up for grabs

Bring your family and join us for a special Warm Up to Summer event from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. this Friday, May 5, at the base of the MU stairs for free hot cocoa or lemonade, free summer swag and the chance to win a $500 summer scholarship.

Register today for OSU's Natural Resources Leadership Academy

There's still time to register for OSU's Natural Resources Leadership Academy. The NRLA is an intensive, hands-on experience that brings together professionals and graduate students from across the world to establish connections, enhance leadership skills and learn from experts on timely, relevant topics in today's changing world.

Sign up for one week or both, June 18-23 and 26-30.

Featured track: Sustainability Assessment (SUS 514)
Engage in a hands-on sustainability assessment of Cameron Winery, an organic and sustainable winery in the Dundee Hills of Oregon's Willamette Valley, by applying an environmental, social and economic sustainability analysis of the business operation. This course is ideal for graduate students interested in sustainable business reporting and business aspects of viticulture, horticulture, crop and soil sciences, food sciences and ecological and environmental engineering. A Total Eclipse Experience

OSU will be right at the center of a unique natural phenomenon – a total solar eclipse, where the sky will go dark for about two minutes at 10:17 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21.

Join us for the OSU150 Space Grant Festival: A Total Eclipse Experience, an informative, fun event to learn about the 2017 total solar eclipse and explore the science, history and mythology around this phenomenon.

Summer Leadership Institute: Advancing Rural Community Health Equity

Complete two courses (both HDFS 508 and HDFS 547) in this new summer program that explores opportunities and challenges for advancing rural health equity.

Gain hands-on experience through course activities, guest speakers, a field trip and a community-based project where you will learn and apply community engagement strategies to effect positive change.

School is hard work. We know that. That's why OSU's Academic Success Center offers academic coaching that can help you determine the next steps for upcoming challenges you may face, including planning for a course, preparing for an exam or managing your course load.
