Oregon State University Summer Session

The wait is (almost) over

It's time to take action. Summer term registration opens for all students this Sunday, April 12. Why should you enroll in summer classes this year?

• You can complete your major requirements sooner.
• Everyone pays in-state tuition in summer.
• Summer's flexible calendar gives you time to study, work and travel.

OSU Summer Session offers nearly 700 undergraduate-level classes in more than 100 subjects, and courses last anywhere from 1 week to 11 weeks.

And if you're leaving Corvallis this summer, Oregon State Ecampus delivers nearly 350 courses online, so you can take advantage of summer term wherever you go.

Featured courses: Three birds, one stone

SPAN 111, SPAN 112, SPAN 113 - First-year Spanish

Here's a crazy idea: Complete a year's worth of academic work in a few months this summer. Our flexible schedule allows you to take a full sequence of Spanish courses in one fell swoop. That's not so crazy after all, is it?

The first-year Spanish sequence will help you develop your listening comprehension and speaking, reading and writing skills. It can also help you meet your foreign language requirement for graduation.

Apply now for HMSC housing scholarship

Perhaps the most unique opportunity to study this summer is at the Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) in Newport, and the deadline to apply for an on-site housing scholarship is May 1.

Courses in the summer marine and environmental studies program at HMSC provide you with extensive hands-on field study of organisms in their natural habitats.

Check out the HMSC financial aid webpage for details on how you can live at HMSC at no cost or at a reduced rate this summer.
