  Design a t-shirt and win a scholarship

Want a $1,000 summer scholarship?

We're excited to announce our 2015 T-shirt design contest, which is open to all current Oregon State students.

The challenge: Create the design for our new T-shirts. The prize: A $1,000 scholarship toward on-campus classes this summer in Corvallis or at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport.

We're accepting digital submissions now through Feb. 22. Each student can submit up to three designs. The design must be your own original, unpublished work and must not include any third-party logos or copyrighted material.

Put your talent to the test and design artwork that could be worn all over campus by your friends and classmates. Students will choose the winning design in an online vote beginning Feb. 25.

Hatfield Marine Science Center

Spend your summer studying by the sea

People who say you can't have your cake and eat it too have never heard of OSU's Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC). It's a stone's throw from the Pacific Ocean, meaning you can check off degree requirements while enjoying a summer in one of America's most scenic locales.

Courses in the summer marine and environmental studies program at HMSC provide students with extensive hands-on field study of organisms in their natural habitats. What's more, scholarships are available for on-site housing at no cost or at a reduced rate during summer term.

Apply for a scholarship by May 1, and visit the HMSC financial aid webpage for more details.
