Win our T-shirt contest, win a $1,000 summer scholarship
If you have skills as a designer or simply like to doodle, then you could be the artist who designs this year's OSU Summer Session T-shirt -- and wins a $1,000 summer scholarship in the process.
We're excited to announce our 2013 T-shirt design contest, which is open to all current OSU students. Put your talent to the test and design artwork that could be worn all over campus by your friends and classmates.
Summer Session is accepting digital submissions now through April 26. Each student can submit up to three designs.
The design must be your own original, unpublished work and must not include any third-party logos or copyrighted material. Finalists will be posted to the Summer Session website for voting, which will take place online from April 29 to May 9.
The winning design will be announced May 13, and the winner will earn a $1,000 scholarship toward credit, Corvallis-campus classes this summer.
Please read all contest rules carefully before submitting your design(s), and best of luck!

Natural Resources Leadership Academy returns to OSU
Oregon State is America's natural resources university, and we are extending the expertise of our faculty this summer to graduate students and professionals in the field for a pair of weeklong leadership seminars.
The second annual Natural Resources Leadership Academy (NRLA) is scheduled for June 17-21 and June 24-28 on the OSU campus in Corvallis. Here are two reasons why you should sign up:
1. Check off your program requirements in a flash. Register for one week, or both, and earn 3 to 4 credits per course. The academy is also the perfect opportunity to make your first visit to the OSU campus if you haven't been here yet.
2. Make connections that will enhance your career. There will be ample opportunities to network with natural resources students and professionals in class, during group projects, social activities and field trips.
Pre-register for the academy today to reserve your spot.
Flat Tail Brewing, OSU team up for burger contest
Speaking of awesome contests, we also want you to create something that is as much a part of summer as the sun: a delicious burger.
We partnered with Flat Tail Brewing, one of Oregon's best brew pubs, to host the inaugural Best Burger Contest, giving you the ability to showcase your culinary talents for the whole town to taste.
How does it work? Starting May 1, you can submit your favorite burger recipe(s) on our website, and then a panel of culinary experts will review all the recipes.
The top five will be tested in a cook-off at Flat Tail. Runners-up will receive a $20 Flat Tail gift card, while the winning burger will be featured on the Flat Tail menu this summer.
The grand-prize winner also will receive a $500 scholarship toward credit, Corvallis-campus classes this summer.
The submission period will run May 1-15, so stay tuned. We'll send you all the contest details in the coming weeks.
