Eligibility to Register

Current undergraduate students in good academic standing are eligible to register for summer term classes. Undergraduate degree-seeking students who have not registered for classes for more than three terms and wish to return should complete the Application for Re-admission: Undergraduates (available at the Registrar's Office) and submit it to the Registrar's Office. The Registrar's Office is in 102 Kerr Administration Building, 541-737-4331. Graduates of OSU wishing to register for summer term classes should apply for a new admission status; refer to the Admission section. New OSU students should apply for admission; refer to the Admission section.

All graduate students enrolled in graduate degree and certificate programs (unless on approved leave of absence) must register continuously for at least 3 graduate credits, except in Summer Session, until their degree or certificate is granted or until their status as a credential-seeking student is terminated. Students who break enrollment in their graduate programs, other than during a prior Summer Session, may be required to apply for readmission before being eligible to register for Summer Session. Non-Degree Students may take classes during summer session. Be sure to complete the non-degree quick application through the Admissions office before contacting an advisor or attempting to register for classes.

Holds

A few students may have holds, which will prevent registration. Holds can be viewed by clicking on the "Check Your Registration Status" link in the Registration menu of your Student Online Services account. You can clear these by using the provided information to contact the office that has placed your hold.
