Housing & Dining
University Housing & Dining Services (UHDS) welcomes you to OSU for Summer Session. We are pleased to provide convenient living and dining accommodations on campus, whether you are attending a short-term seminar, an eight- or 11-week session, or staying at OSU the entire summer.
Residence Halls
The residence hall scheduled for occupancy for 2013 Summer Session housing is Halsell Hall. Halsell offers suite rooms, with four single or two double bedrooms sharing a common area with kitchenette and one-and-a-half bathrooms. Residents in the Summer Session hall contract on a flexible, weekly basis for a room only.
For detailed information regarding summer term housing, see Summer Housing on the UHDS website.
Dining Services
Summer Session meal service operates throughout the regular 11-week session, June 24 to September 6. Although no UHDS meal plan is available during the summer, students are encouraged to open or add money to their Orange Rewards account to enjoy a 10% discount on all meal purchases on campus. Off-Campus Housing
Some students also choose to live off-campus in the beautiful Corvallis area. Availability of apartments and houses close to campus has been very limited during the past few years for new students. Check the classified ads in the Corvallis Gazette-Times, visit USACitylink, Rent.com, ApartmentList.com, CraigsList, or search for "Property Management Corvallis" on the internet via a search engine, or stop by the housing (bulletin) board in the Memorial Union. The housing board contains notices for roommates and rooms, apartments, and houses for summer rental and is located on the Mezzanine level on the wall just outside Buenos Burritos.
