For transfer students wishing to start a degree program during Summer Session, they must first apply, meet eligibility requirements for admission, and be officially admitted as for any other term. For information concerning application deadlines and admission requirements, new degree-seeking students can check the Office of Admissions website, or call them at 800-291-4192. Be sure to connect with your advisor if you would like advising help.

Are you admitted for fall term 2013, but interested in taking summer classes?

“What I liked most about summer session was the pace of the courses. Things moved quickly enough to not get boring while the environment was relaxed enough that it wasn't stressful.”
Michael Marineau
BS, Computer Science

Summer is a great time to get acquainted with college life because classes are smaller and more one-on-one communication with professors is possible. However, if you are a transfer student officially admitted for fall term 2013 and decide to begin classes during Summer Session, you must notify the Office of Admissions in writing so that your admission can be updated and your eligibility for registration established. Fill out the Change of Term form and submit it to the Office of Admissions.
