Will summer 2014 be your first term at OSU?
Transfer students who wish to start a degree program during summer term at Oregon State must first apply and be officially admitted to the university as they would for any other term. For information on application deadlines and admission requirements, new degree-seeking students can check the Office of Admissions website, call them at 800-291-4192 or email them at email@example.com.
Are you admitted for fall term but want to take summer classes?
If you are a transfer student who has been officially admitted for fall term 2014 and decide to begin classes during summer term, you must notify the Office of Admissions in writing so that your admission can be updated and your eligibility for registration established. Fill out the change of term form and submit it to the Office of Admissions.

START orientation program
New students to OSU are required to register for and attend START, a one-day summer advising and registration program. You must attend in order to register for fall term classes, and space in each program is limited. Students with 36 or more transferable quarter college credits need to participate in Transfer START.
Registration begins May 1, 2014, and can be completed on the START website or in person at the New Student Programs and Family Outreach office.

Are you a dual enrolled student?
Oregon State's Degree Partnership Program (DPP) allows students from more than a dozen community colleges in Oregon and Hawaii to take classes at OSU and their local school, and use financial aid, campus facilities and services at both institutions.
