International Programs
Through International Programs (IP), OSU students can earn academic credit by studying or interning abroad. OSU currently offers over a hundred different study abroad opportunities in many countries. International Degree and Education Abroad (IDEA), one of five units within IP, also administers the International Degree Program in which students can earn a concurrent degree in international studies in their major. For example, a business administration student can also earn a B.A. in International Studies in Business Administration.
IE3 Global Internships offer students career experience through internships with businesses, government, and nonprofit and educational organizations abroad. Current openings are listed on the IE3 Global Internship website.
International Student and Faculty Services offer advice and counseling to students and scholars from abroad that study, teach, or conduct research at OSU. The International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) offers tuition remission to qualified international students who provide cultural and educational service to the local community. Crossroads International, a community volunteer organization, promotes intercultural understanding through friendship between community members and OSU's international students, visiting scholars, and their families.
