International Programs

International Students

International students may choose to attend classes in the summer for several reasons, including:

  • Smaller class sizes
  • Summer classes help students stay on track for graduation
  • All qualifying students, including matriculated international students, pay in-state tuition (excluding OSU Ecampus, VetMed or PharmD courses or INTO students)

In addition, any spouse on an F-2 or J-2 visa, or any child of a J-1 international student, is eligible to take OSU classes to further their education while networking with others on the Oregon State University campus.

Office of International Services

The Office of International Services (OIS) serves and supports OSU’s growing and diverse international population as they flourish on campus, in the community and around the world. OIS is the central campus resource for advising and services for international students, scholars and faculty, consulting on visa and immigration issues, hosting international visitors, hiring international employees and providing resources to faculty and staff preparing to travel on behalf of OSU. OIS serves more than 4,500 students and scholars from more than 90 countries, connecting students, scholars and their families to campus and the community. For questions about services for international students, please email or call 541-737-3006.
