The Division of International Programs (IP) leads OSU’s internationalization efforts through innovation, service and collaboration. IP seeks to provide all learners with access to international opportunities and experiences to reveal a path to becoming globally-minded citizens who promote student success. The division is composed of the following units:
The Office of Global Opportunities (OSU GO) advises OSU students on more than 200 international opportunities for education, internships and research in more than 70 countries around the world. OSU GO also provides support for OSU faculty members who administer departmental exchange programs and are interested in teaching or leading a program abroad. Additionally, OSU GO coordinates faculty-led programs, internships, study abroad, exchange and research program opportunities for multiple partner universities within the Pacific Northwest through IE3 Global.
The Office of International Services (OIS) serves and supports OSU’s growing and diverse international population as they flourish on campus, in the community and around the world. OIS is the central campus resource for advising and services for international students, scholars and faculty, consulting on visa and immigration issues, hosting international visitors, hiring international employees and providing resources to faculty and staff preparing to travel on behalf of OSU. OIS serves more than 4,500 students and scholars from more than 90 countries, connecting students, scholars and their families to campus and the community.
The Office of the Vice Provost for International Programs (VPIP) furthers Oregon State University’s commitment to internationalization by providing leadership and support across several critical areas, including development and implementation of strategic directions in internationalization, campus-wide coordination of international efforts, facilitating successful integration of international students and scholars, and supporting and expanding education abroad programs for students and faculty.
