Summer Session 2009 Photo Contest Rules

Download or pick up Flat Benny in The Barometer and at other various campus locations on May 27, cut him out and be sure to take him along with you wherever you go this summer.  Upload fun and creative photos of your summer adventures with Flat Benny and you could win an iPod Touch!

Judging and prizes
Photos will be judged by OSU Summer Session on creativity, OSU spirit, uniqueness, and overall look and feel of summer.  The first place winner will win an iPod Touch, the second place winner will receive a $75 gift certificate to the OSU Bookstore, the third place winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the OSU Bookstore and five honorable mentions will receive OSU Summer Session prize packs.

Eligibility and photo requirements
You must be 18 or older to upload photos to enter into the contest.  Only legal guardians of minors (persons 17 years and younger) may submit and upload photos in which a minor appears.  Flat Benny must appear in your photo entry.  Photos entered must be in good taste and will be removed from posting and from the contest if judged inappropriate by OSU Summer Session.  

Deadline
Entries must be uploaded to Facebook or Flickr between May 27, 2009 and midnight on Aug. 1, 2009.  Photo upload instructions will be added soon.  Winners will be notified with a message via their Facebook or Flickr account.  Visit Facebook and Flickr for detailed user information.

Participation agreement and terms of use
All photos become property of Oregon State University upon uploading to Facebook or Flickr.  Uploading your photo to Facebook or Flickr designates your entry into the photo contest.  Entering photos in the contest waives your right to the photo and any future inspection and/or approval of future use by OSU Summer Session or Oregon State University. Photos entered could subsequently be used in other means of communication (including but not limited to marketing efforts and advertising via Web, print, video, audio or television) by Oregon State University and OSU Summer Session.

Uploading your photo into the Where’s Benny? Summer Session Photo Contest indicates that you have read and understood the above rules and are knowingly and voluntarily participating in the Where’s Benny? Summer Session Photo Contest.
